Christmas for Larry and delivering gifts

It was a good weekend. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lewiston and I have to say I was impressed. Our 'bonus daughter' Michelle works there so she got us a rate. NICE!!! Mostly all we did after we got there Saturday was lay around and go to dinner at Applebee's. I spent some time visiting with Michelle while she was working. Sunday AM we met up with my ex and his "friend" for breakfast, then drove up to Orofino to deliver the Christmas gifts to KD & family. It was almost snow as we headed back down the river so we gassed up in Lewiston and headed up the grade and came home. Even only being gone one night it was nice to get back home. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to attend church services at home or at Tammany View but it was important to make this weekend about Larry and doing the things he wanted to do - Including meeting Steve! lol =) Yes, they got along well; I knew they would. So nice Larry isn't intimidated by me being friends with my ex. He knows and is comfortable with the fact that I am where I want to be. I am so thankful for Larry. He is a good man. This week we'll go to his mom's on Christmas eve day and then to the services at church - I Think Larry is going with me. Friday will be our day together, with me cooking a Christmas ham dinner for the two of us. On Saturday the middle daughter Tonya & family will be in town and we'll go to Swedette's for a birthday party for Mom, Lyden (Tonya's stepson) and Bailey (KD's son.) Not sure Bailey will be here, KD said "no" last time we asked but we're still hoping. But we celebrate the birth of our Lord without His being here (physically) so I guess we can celebrate Bailey's birthday without him this year - if we have to. Then we'll prepare to welcome the new year, the new decade... where did the 0 years go???

  1. Sounds like you had a very busy, very quick weekend?! I have a love/hate relationship with those :)

Enjoy the Christmas Eve service at church. Mike always makes it special, and it's always beautiful. We'll be with my parents and sister this year in the Tri-Cities. It'll be hectic but FUN!!! Merry Christmas!
